Poly Enterprises was recently on the job in Rome, NY to install a privacy fence around a new swimming pool. The State of New York requires a barrier that completely surrounds and obstructs access to any swimming pool filled to a depth of more than 24 inches. The barrier is required to be at least 4 feet high with access gates that may be secured when the pool is not in use. The land surrounding the swimming pool was uneven varying as much as 1-2 feet in spots around the swimming pool installation.
