Our Poly Deck crew was back at it again on a new deck install in the town of Rome. The deck features a chevron accent on both upper and lower decks. The only way to achieve the chevron accent and maintain the structural performance of the deck is to install joist every 12” on center versus the standard 16” on center. This gives both the decking and the subframe strength and durability. This deck features our Veka Deck line decking which is an expanded PVC based product. The decking is installed using stainless steel hidden fasteners and color match screws with plugs.
