Poly Enterprises was back in Marcy, New York to help renew and revitalize an old wood deck. We had replaced the old wood pool fence around their in-ground pool the past year with our popular vinyl pool fence, but the house deck and another detached deck needed some help.
A rotted deck could cause numerous problems for the homeowner and could also create a risk with homeowners insurance and more importantly causes a danger to anyone who uses the deck.
After removing the old railing and wood decking, we secured and straightened the wood frame to accept the new treated wood decking. We installed the new decking, and then moved on to installing the new vinyl railing. To keep the same look as the pool fence, we had the vinyl railing manufactured with the same baluster spacing and baluster type. It ended up looking great and accented the pool area very nicely.

Next we started on the house deck which although not very old needed to be updated with our popular Newport vinyl railing.  After removing the existing treated railing we installed our new vinyl railing with each section being manufactured to the exact size eliminating waste and installation time. As always, our vinyl railing is reinforced with aluminum so it will not sag over time. We completed the install with a custom gate installed at the top of the stairs to secure the area for our customer’s two dogs. The install came out great and our customer was very pleased with the results.
